Jazz combo course, theory, harmony, improvisation, reading.

I wanted to illustrate a band, a dynamism and a movement with those musicians almost making one.
​
The graphic style was inspired by famous Belgian graphic designer Peter De Greef, notably known for his music posters and his music score covers. I've always liked his compositions and his particular style, between old art nouveau, cubism and emerging art déco at that era, as well as his audacious layouts.
​
The art nouveau font, in a single block, is heavily tilted (pretty common in De Greef's work), extending the the valve of the trombone. The use of only one color is a nod to the designer's work in scores.
